It is the application of injecting proliferative and irritant solutions (which can be done together with anesthetic agent) into the joint connective tissue. Injections are usually given to injured, worn, weakened tendons and ligaments and joints. Drug mixtures selected for the purpose are applied locally, with special needles and special techniques. Prolotherapy is completed in a total of 30 minutes or less, including pre-procedure preparation. Besides, prolotherapy treatment does not require general anesthesia and hospitalization. Healing takes place gradually due to tissue regeneration. Although it varies according to the type and duration of the disorder, it may take 3 weeks to 6 months for positive effects to be observed, so patients should be patient.

CUPPING AND HIJAMA THERAPY

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a qualified therapist applies a vacuum to the skin with special cups. Its effectiveness is based on accelerating blood flow by performing deep tissue massage.

Hijama therapy is the application of blood collection by creating superficial skin incisions with regional vacuum at certain body points.

The cups used in cupping treatment can be made of glass, bamboo, soil and silicone materials.

Cup and hijama applications, which are mentioned even in the Ebers Papyrus (1550 BC), which is one of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, are common treatment methods in Chinese, Ancient Egyptian and Middle Eastern cultures.

The negative pressure created by the cup application provides relaxation in the muscles, accelerates the blood flow and has a calming effect on the nervous system. It is used to relieve back and neck pain, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraine, rheumatism and even cellulite.

Patients under the age of 60 tolerate cupping quite well. Once or twice a week treatment can be safely administered.

OZONE THERAPY

What is ozone therapy? How is it applied?

It is a traditional and complementary medicine method that is applied by mixing ozone gas obtained from pure oxygen with a special generator, with the patient’s own blood or physiological saline, or by giving it to various parts of the body in gaseous form. Ozone is a chemical compound composed of three oxygen atoms. Ozone therapy cures or completely corrects many pathological conditions. The curative treatments, which are given to the body in different ways, specific to the patient and the disease, using ozone gas, which is an active oxygen molecule, consisting of three oxygen atoms, is called “ozonetherapy”. One or more of the treatment applications can be applied by determining the number of sessions according to the patient or the disease. Although the number of sessions is between 8-10 on average, it can increase according to the patient’s condition.

Treatment Methods:

The duration of the application varies between 15 and 30 minutes using disposable sterile special sets prepared for ozone therapy.

Minor Method: 2 – 5 cc of blood taken from the person is mixed with a determined dose of ozone and injected intramuscularly into the person.

Ozone Delivery to Body Cavities: Ozone is given to the person through the rectal-rectal, vaginal or ear canal spraying method.

Injection Of Ozone Gas İnto The Joint And Muscle: In Musculoskeletal System disorders, a certain dose of ozone gas is injected into the person’s joints and the painful area in the muscles with an appropriate needle.

Ozone Bag: It is used in non-healing wounds and diabetic feet, skin lesions, infections, circulatory disorders, neuropathic pains and restless legs syndrome.
