Dokuz Eylul University Hospital Central Laboratory aims to provide the highest quality medical laboratory service in modern and scientific standards, to contribute to education and research, by adhering to good laboratory practices and medical ethics, aiming at continuous improvement.

All employees of the Central Laboratory perform laboratory service within the scope of good professional principles, respecting patient rights, adhering to all policies and documents defined in the quality management system, in line with the principles of impartiality and confidentiality of patient information.

Central Laboratory management undertakes to provide the necessary human resources and technical, structural and financial support, to produce reliable and accurate results, to provide laboratory services in which patient rights are at the forefront, in accordance with the ISO 15189 standard.

Dokuz Eylul University Hospital Central Laboratory is the first public hospital laboratory with ISO 15189 accreditation certificate in Turkey.

It was accredited for the first time on 25.05.2012 and proved its quality by being accredited again for 4 years on 11.02.2021.
