Orthopedics and Traumatology

Although our department has a respected place in the Turkish Orthopedics world, many specialist physicians working within and outside the borders of our country and faculty members working in universities and training centers have been trained.

With a staff of 13 faculty members and 1 specialist, Orthopedics and traumatology serve with success in every field that its expertise has reached in today’s medical world, especially spine surgery, sports injuries and arthroscopy surgery, pediatric orthopedics, hand surgery and microsurgery, degenerative disorders, joint surgery and arthroplasty, musculoskeletal traumatology and treatment of musculoskeletal system tumors. Our faculty members of the department contribute to the development of existing orthopedic implants and the creation of new implants as part of the university industry cooperation.

There are at least three operating rooms belonging to our clinic that can serve every day of the week. In our polyclinic, lecturers and assistants serve about 4000 patient per month. Emergency services are carried out quickly by the team present at our clinic at any time.

Pediatric orthopedics:
• Childhood congenital or acquired movement system problems,
• Developmental hip dysplasias,
• Vertebral problems such as scoliosis – kyphosis,
• cerebral palsy,
• Foot diseases in childhood,
• gait disorders,
• pediatric sports medicine,
• Pediatric movement system traumas,
• Childhood musculoskeletal tumors,
• Childhood fractures and dislocations

Adult Orthopedics:
• Shoulder, Knee and Hip joint surgeries and arthroplasties (prosthetic surgeries),
• Infections of bones and joints,
• Adult foot deformity (Hallux valgus) surgeries,
• cervical disc hernia and hernia of the loins,
• Degenerative diseases of the spine, scoliosis of adults
• Adult musculoskeletal tumors

Arthroscopy:
• Knee,
• Ankle problems,
• Diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue and bone tumors,
• Adult sport medicine,
• Movement system traumatology.

Hand Surgery:
• Treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome,
• Tendon injuries and repairs,
• Infections and tumors
